Allison Hastings

Allison Hastings joined Vera in 2006 and has worked on many projects focused on eliminating sexual abuse in confinement settings and improving conditions of confinement. She serves as a technical assistance lead for the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC)-funded Resource Center for Reaching Victims. In that capacity, she oversees the Resource Center’s body of work related to crime victims with incarceration histories. She also manages Vera’s partnership with the National PREA Resource Center (PRC), which entails developing resources, providing technical assistance, and serving as faculty for various PRC-led trainings. She holds a Master of Science in Justice, Law and Society from American University and a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in English from Southern Methodist University.
