Andrew Taylor
Andrew Taylor was a research associate on the Reshaping Prosecution program. Andrew’s work focused on working with local law enforcement, prosecutor, and community stakeholders to reduce jail incarceration and take new approaches to prosecution. Prior to joining Vera, Andrew was a Data Science for Social Good Fellow with the University of Washington eScience Institute, and a Graduate Student Fellow with the Foundation for Healthy Generations. Andrew’s previous research focused on racial disparities in misdemeanor sentencing, legal financial obligations, and the intersection between criminal justice and health. Andrew graduated magnum cum laude with a MPA in Policy Analysis and Evaluation from the University of Washington Evans School.
