Jacqueline Altamirano Marin
Jacqueline Altamirano Marin joined Vera on May 05, 2020. She is a program associate for Vera’s Center on Sentencing and Corrections Opening Doors to Public Housing Initiative.
Prior to joining Vera, Jacqueline worked as trainer and organizer with the Western States Center in Portland, OR where she worked with immigrant, transgender, and reproductive justice rights organizations. She was most recently at a law firm in New York City working on diversity and inclusion. Jacqueline completed her undergraduate degree at Portland State University where she studied political science and gender studies and went on to obtain a Masters of Arts in Human Rights from Columbia University.
